You've heard how much fun UB's Earth Day was.  They also took some pictures of the event.  Kudos go to Joaquin Magana, Loretta Logan, and the entire crew that did such a wonderful job from idea to inception.

"Congrats to the students of the Project Management class of the Faculty of Science and Technology  of the University of Belize on their displays promoting alternative green energy sources and sharing knowledge about a greener livelihood for a cleaner environment at the University’s sixth Earth Day Celebration themed: 'A New Wave of Green Energy' on April 19, at Central Campus, Belmopan."

UB's Earth Day Fair on Plus TV

UB's Earth Day Fair on Plus TV | Cayo Scoop! The Ecology of Cayo Culture | Scoop.it

Plus TV has a video from tUB's 6th annual Earth Day Fair.  Julian Cruz interviews Loretta Logan and a few students, and relates what she found out.

"The children and adults were also able to apply newly acquired knowledge in various games organized by UB students of the Natural Resource Management program.  Under the tent top we were given a quick lesson on endangered animal species found in our ecosystem and Belize’s efforts to preserve and assist in re-populating their natural habitats...  The mission of the University of Belize green energy advocates is ‘to foster knowledge on the use of alternative energy to old and young generation through community outreach.’  I would say they achieved that objective today."
