Miss World Belize Setup

Pictures from the setting up of Miss World Belize, which was last Saturday at the Log Cab-Inns. Panerrifix setting up, and playing multiple songs was the highlight, and the drinks and appetizers were top notch. Belize Mixology did a great job.

Miss World Belize 2016

The Miss World Belize pageant is being held this Saturday, October 22nd, at the Log Cab-Inns, here in Cayo. The winner will represent Belize at the Miss World pageant in Washington D.C. in December. Panerrifix will be performing during the show. The after party is at Thirsty Thursdays, and there's a pool party on Sunday. Call 607-2954 for more information and tickets.

"Chantae Chanice Guy was the first Belize delegate to make it to the Top 10 of any Miss World preliminary competition when she made the Top Model Top 10. Will she also make history at Miss Continente Americano? Chantae Chanice Guy of Belmopan, Cayo will represent Belize at Miss Continente Americano in Guayaquil, Ecuador during September, 2012. As she prepares to represent Belize at her second international pageant, Chantae worked with Jose Luis Zapata Photography to build her portfolio and get some professional pictures taken for official use."

Miss Belize Chantae Guy Makes Quarterfinals

For the first time, Belize has made the quarterfinals at the Miss World competition. Congratulations, Chantae Guy!

"The excitement was palpable as Graeme took to the floor to brief the contestants on what was expected of them. He - alongside three other representatives of the brand - would be judging them so the representatives were keen to catch every word. He started by saying how magnificent they all looked and how he wished every single one of them could be in the show! To be selected, he asked them to tell him a catwalk story with their walk and clarified that he was looking for someone to suit his brand, and who could interpret the clothes in their own way. He finished by instructing them to ‘become actresses’ and ‘walk casually’, as though they were on a street and not in front of thousands of people! Having wished them all luck, he headed for the judges table and the audition began in earnest."
