A high school senior who takes part in her school's homebound program was faced with this proclamation from the Cheatham County Senior High School:
"NO HOMEBOUND STUDENT CAN VISIT ANY CHEATHAM COUNTY SCHOOL TO SOCIALIZE WITH THEIR FRIENDS. ATTENDANCE AT SUCH ACTIVITIES WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT MAY RESULT IN THE STUDENT'S REMOVAL FROM THE PROGRAM."
It now appears that the district may have a change of heart. They have sent her an exempt form to fill out and return in order that the district will be able to make a determination if she will be able to attend her high school prom on May 20.
