Wonderful resource! Nice archive of poetry that can be explored by subject, theme, author, or form. Many of the poems have audio so kids can read along. Students can also learn about poets through biographies featured on the site.

Great site for early finishers. Keep squares of colored paper available. Directions can be followed via animated tutorial or diagram (which also can be printed). Each project is rated for difficulty.

*Update! Geo Greeting also creates an animation of your message. Very nice feature.

From previous post. "Geo Greeting uses a satellite view of buildings, structures and nature to spell out words and phrases. If you hold your mouse over a letter it will tell you where the image comes from and you also have the option of seeing it on a map."

I love Flipboard. I first learned about it from @jedipadmaster a few years ago. I use it to view blogs I follow.

I like when tools have more than one use. Below is a link, shared by Nik Peahey, with a tutorial on how to create your own magazines from your curated content. Very nice way to share content with students.
