The Luxembourg authorities will be participating in "Cyber Europe 2018 - Preparing Aviation to Respond to Cyber Crises" on 6 and 7 June 2018.
The Office of the High Commissioner for National Protection (HCPN), the National Agency for Information Systems Security (ANSSI.lu) and the GOVCERT of the Luxembourg Government (Computer Emergency Response Team) are set to take part in the 5th edition of Cyber Europe exercises this week.
Cyber Europe 2018 is a large pan-European cyber security exercise organised by the European Cyber Security Agency (ENISA). The exercise involves simulating a major cyber attack on the civil aviation sector. Scaffolded in the field of civil aviation, the scenario of the year 2018 "Preparing Aviation to Respond to Cyber Crises", will take place in a real context and will consist in simulating incidents on the information systems of airports of the European Union. The incidents will be progressively developed until they reach a situation of crisis of European scale.
