Après avoir consacré un événement aux cryptomonnaies en avril dernier , PwC Luxembourg s’est vu en quelque sorte mis au défi par certains clients: «Pourquoi pas vous?». Le cabinet d’audit et de conseil aux entreprises a donc mené une réflexion et pris rapidement une décision.

Villers believes that threat intelligence is mandatory for ensuring long-term security, and that organizations should invest in data loss prevention solutions, as well as finding a way to tackle the insider threat.

“Introducing artificial intelligence into cybersecurity is a good way to handle time-consuming, low value-added tasks. It will require a training / development / improvement period, but it will certainly help cybersecurity specialists focus on more decision-making tasks and making the right decision in a timely manner,” Raymond adds.

“Companies no longer have the means to protect everything, so it’s essential for them to invest in detection technologies in order to obtain the right information and the source of the information. This implies even more data to process and, thus, the implementation of technologies based on data analytics and machine learning, such as behavioural analysis.”

PwC stellt „Global Economic Crime Survey“ vor

Die von PwC angefertigte „2018 Global Economic Crime“-Umfrage zeigt für Unternehmen in Luxemburg ein eindeutiges Bild: Cyberkriminalität ist demnach auch im Großherzogtum ein Problem, mit dem sich Unternehmen auseinander setzen müssen - und das eine reale Bedrohung sein kann.

Demnach gaben knapp 43 Prozent der befragten Unternehmen an, einen Cyberangriff für die stärkste Bedrohung der kommenden zwei Jahre zu halten. Damit verwies die digitale Kriminalität traditionelle Bedrohungen wie Geldwäsche und Steuerhinterziehung auf die Ränge. Immer noch mit dabei bleibt auch die Zweckentfremdung von Kapital.
