Grader Report with improved features
The Gradebook and Grader Report features are now easily accessible on all devices, navigable through the simple use of scrolling technology. You can conduct any editing you need to right on the device as well, and it can now be done without repetitive loading and re-loading.

Enhancements to the Moodle Forum

The YouTube assignment submission plugin is for the Moodle assignment (2.3  and above). It allows teachers to set an assignment, for which a submission can be a video. The video is uploaded from the student's pc/device directly to YouTube. The video file is stored on YouTube, though it is accessible from Moodle.

As Moodle continues to develop as a learning platform, new features emerge. This month, the latest release has delivered multiple improvements to the Gradebook tool, taking from quantative and qualitative research from teachers across the globe. A new Grade history report allows teachers and managers to see which grades have been changed, when and by whom, while a handy Single view makes it simple to focus on one column or row of the gradebook.

While there have been a range of aggregation strategies available to teachers in Gradebook, a new natural weighting method in the latest release allows for the sum of all grade values, scaled by weight. Extra credit, excluded and hidden grades are all supported.

There are tons of great tools that integrate directly with Moodle to offer better collaboration, personalized learning and communication. In developing the MediaCore Moodle plugin we gained experience working with Moodle and became familiar with the ecosystem of plugins available for the LMS.

This is a new block which creates a slideshow in the header of a site or course page.  It uses jquery/cycle to handle the image transitions. Jquery is also used to manipulate the DOM to reposition the block's node into the heading div of the page. 

Since this is dependent on using moodle's built in jquery functions, it is not available for versions prior to 2.5.

Update: This block will work with the Clean theme on Moodle version 2.5.2 where MDL-41516 has been fixed.
